Yoga & Mindfulness
Mindfulness practices aim to quiet and align the mind. Helping us to cultivate a deeper connection to and understanding of the Self. While climbing is our main focus at Approach, we also provide opportunities to grow mindfully. Yoga, Physical Therapy, Meditation Spaces, and Community Events are some of the tools we use to actuate the concept of healthy balanced living, peace, calmness and strong relationships with our Self and others.

About Our Yoga & Mindfulness Programs
Our Program Mission
Our goal is to create space for you to grow in your sport and your heart! We are building a foundation for climbers and continuing to connect deeply within our community. We aim to do this through yoga classes, youth programming, women’s gatherings, community clean-up, retreats, and more.
Not only will you likely feel more expansive and better in your body but you’ll also improve your:

Understanding of proprioception (knowing where your body is in space) and how your body communicates with you

Flexibility to really move dynamically

Strength in those important long lean muscles

Proper breathing techniques for calming your mind and body

Accepting the moment before use without trying to change it
The goal here is to steady the mind space so we can move with balanced intention on the wall and in everyday life!
Clinic and Classes Structure
We offer the following for both our members and non-members:

Weekly 60 minute classes

Twice monthly 90 minute clinics
-
Local and traveling retreats
For weekly classes you can just show up and sign in at the front desk! Weekly classes are free to members and cost a day pass for non-members. With a day pass you can take the yoga class and also climb that day!
